AN INTRODUCTION
Movement has always been central to my life, but when an injury ended my athletics career, I had to adopt a more mindful approach to training. After completing my BSc (Hons) in Sport, Physical Education and Coaching Science at the University of Birmingham, I qualified as a Personal Trainer and Yoga Teacher. Determined to avoid re-injury, these practices laid the foundation for my journey into Pilates.
I trained in contemporary Mat and Reformer Pilates in London in 2020 and have been teaching full-time ever since. Seeing clients progress is a rewarding process and motivates me to continue refining my own practice.
WHY PILATES?
After years of high-intensity training, Pilates helped me find the balance my body needed. Beyond building physical strength, I see it as an intelligent movement system that enhances my focus and presence.
Its progressive, methodical approach really appeals to me. Each session feels like unlocking new levels, making me aware of the body’s interconnectedness.
OUTSIDE OF PILATES
Being outdoors in nature and moving my body is when I feel most alive and I love being able to express that through photography.
